The housing subdivision of Hawes Crossing Village 2 is to be constructed east of Sossaman Road and north of Warner Road in Mesa.

The Mesa Planning and Zoning Board recently voted unanimously in a consent agenda with other items to approve a preliminary plat for the development on 181.14 acres. Absent from the meeting were Chair Jessica Sarkissian and board member Troy Peterson.

A 607-lot single-residence subdivision is planned in two phases at Hawes Crossing Village 2, Planner Sean Pesek said at a study session before the Feb. 23 meeting.

“The request is just to define the property lines; there are no specific site plans that will be reviewed at this time,” he said.
