Kingman resident Adam Morgan is an entrepreneur and software security expert.
The West Point graduate and former U.S. Army Airborne Ranger has worked in the high-tech fields of cryptocurrency and cybersecurity as well, liaising directly with the Department of Defense and other law enforcement agencies.
But what he wants most these days is to be known as the antithesis of U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar, the man he is challenging in the Republican primary in Arizona’s new 9th Congressional District.
Morgan launched his campaign in January for the congressional district that encompasses Mohave, La Paz and parts of Yuma and western Maricopa counties.
He faces a steep challenge defeating Gosar in his inaugural run for office in Arizona’s rubiest of red congressional districts, where the winner of the GOP primary is very likely to win in November as well.
