New downtown park, updated artificial turf, noise rules on Scottsdale’ agenda

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Scottsdale City Council will look at a range of issues during a March 22 retreat.

Those include short-term rental regulations, city ordinances related to allowing artificial turf, noise and ethics rules and addressing homelessness.

The Scottsdale council will also be updated on the status of bond construction projects approved by voters in a 2019 citywide vote.

Councilors will also look at several downtown issues.

Those include walkability efforts in Old Town, the potential creation of a new city park at Goldwater Boulevard and 5th Avenue and designating City Hall as a historic site.

The retreat and discussions will be held at 9:30 a.m. on March 22 at the Community Design Studio at 7506 E. Indian School Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85260.
