The sale this week of a 6,180-square-foot home in Whisper Rock in north Scottsdale represents the highest priced home sale in that community.
Villa Bellissima at Whisper Rock Estates sold for $6.25 million, or $1,011.33 per square foot, said Jordan Ayan, co-founder and principal of The Lifestyle Collection at Launch Real Estate.
With three bedrooms and five bathrooms, the home, built on a 3.1-acre lot backing the exclusive Whisper Rock Golf Course, represents the first home in that 85266 ZIP code to ever sell for more than $1,000 a square foot, he said.
What’s more, the home was only on the market since Jan. 17, closing on March 8.
“A house like this three years ago would have sat on the market probably for at least two years,” said Ayan, who represented the seller and buyer in the deal.
