Valley real estate mogul sells 12,000 acres as 20-year lawsuit comes to a close

After fighting a legal battle for nearly 20 years over a 12,081-acre parcel of land in the West Valley, real estate mogul Conley Wolfswinkel has sold the property for $142.54 million.

On March 3, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona approved a motion to sell the property — which is west of White Tank Regional Park along Sun Valley Parkway — as part of a Chapter 11 proceeding.
