Design makeover planned for Florence Boulevard in Casa Grande

CASA GRANDE — Florence Boulevard is headed for a colorful makeover with a streetscape project aimed at the four-mile corridor from Pinal Avenue to Interstate 10.

Casa Grande city planner Joe Horn told the Planning and Zoning Commission on Thursday night that design plans and solutions will be presented for discussion amongst the commission, City Council, relevant businesses and other key stakeholders before final approval and implementation.

Horn told PinalCentral he and his department were extremely enthusiastic about the Florence Boulevard streetscape initiative.
