Miami-based Lennar Corp. has plopped down $25.1 million for an 80-acre parcel within Hawes Crossing, a 1,131-acre master-planned community under development in Mesa that eventually could include more than 5,000 homes.
The former dairy farmland situated along Loop 202 at the SR 24 interchange is now the largest remaining assemblage of land within the city of Mesa to be developed.

Jordan Rose, founder of Rose Law Group, was instrumental in getting the zoning approved for Hawes Crossing.
“Thanks to the Mesa City Council’s careful consideration, and with Lennar setting a high standard, Hawes Crossing will become the ‘It’ place to live,” she said.
