Mattamy buys more land amid plan for 1,000 Valley homes

Mattamy Homes closed on an another parcel of vacant land in the southeast Valley as part of its long-range plan to build more than 1,000 homes in the area.

The Canadian homebuilder paid $23.45 million to Montage Acquisitions for an 88.49-acre parcel north of the northwest corner of Gantzel and Combs roads in Queen Creek, according to Tempe-based Vizzda LLC.
