Semiconductor company seeks approval in Casa Grande

CASA GRANDE — Hot on the heels of Taiwanese-based tech company Jing He Science purchasing land in the Burris Road region of Casa Grande, another semiconductor-related company is poised to start doing business in the area.

Kanto Corporation is in escrow to purchase a parcel of some 81 acres north of Central Arizona Commerce Park and east of Burris Road.

The Casa Grande Planning and Zoning Commission made a recommendation of approval to be forwarded to the City Council after a rezoning request was made by Valley real estate developer Charles “Spike” Lawrence on behalf of Kanto.
