TCC plans mixed-use in Scottsdale

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

Development and rezoning proposals have been put forward in Scottsdale to replace a shopping center near Chaparral High School with a new apartment project.

Trammell Crow Company’s High Street Residential has submitted plans with the City of Scottsdale for a new mixed-use development with 254 residences — including live/work units.

The project is on a 4.64 acre site at the southwest corner of Scottsdale Road and Gold Dust Avenue near Chaparral High School.

The property is currently home to a shopping center. The development is called Scottsdale & Gold Dust. It will also have 11,000 square feet of commercial space.

The developer is asking for the site to be rezoned from commercial to a mixed-use and Planned Unit Development designation to allow for the multifamily project.

High Street is a multifamily development arm of Texas-based real estate giant Trammell Crow.
