Unfinished business is on mind of CG councilman, candidate

CASA GRANDE — Having served as a Casa Grande City Council member since 2008, which has included two terms as mayor pro tempore, council candidate in the Aug. 8 primary Matt Herman says he still feels passionate about serving his local community.

“I grew up in Casa Grande, I’ve lived here all my life,” he said. “I have a passion for this city for it to do well. I really enjoy being on council and representing people. I like making a difference in the community and helping people; that’s the best part of it.”

Like his fellow competing candidates, Herman told PinalCentral that having local knowledge is a bonus when trying to find solutions and an understanding of local issues.
