By Kimlye Stager | Pinal Central

MARICOPA — Global Water is working on various projects around Maricopa while looking to conserve the city’s water supply.

Jon Corwin, Global Water vice president and general manager, spoke Tuesday to the City Council and addressed the safety of workers, referencing a recent injury to a contract worker.

“Something we, Global Water, hold very dearly to our heart (is) the safety of our employees, contractors and customers,” he said. “We’re working with the contractor to ensure their safety program meets our standards and we don’t have a reoccurrence of that event again.”
