New QuikTrip planned in Glendale

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Glendale Planning Commission will consider plans for a new QuikTrip gas station and convenience store at its meeting on Thursday, May 26.

The QuikTrip station is proposed for a vacant lot at the southeast corner of 83rd Avenue and Glendale Avenue in the West Valley.

Fortis Glendale LLC (William Hawkins) and Oklahoma-based QT want a conditional use permit from the City of Glendale for the development.

Plans call for a 5,312-square foot QT convenience store along with 7,287 square feet of gas station canopies.

The service station will be open 24/7, according to plans filed with the city.

After the planning commission, the project will be considered by the Glendale City Council.
