A recent analysis conducted by financial adviser SmartAsset set out to find the places experiencing the most investment in the local economy. To determine the counties with the most incoming investment, SmartAsset measured growth across three categories: gross domestic product, new businesses launched and new building permits.

According to the study, Pinal County ranked amongst the highest places experiencing the most growth in Arizona and the United States.

Pinal County leads in business growth with the No. 1 position in Arizona and sits 137th nationally amongst counties.

Business growth is at 9.7% with GDP growth at $445 million and new building permits at 36.3 per 1,000 homes.
