A candidate’s opinion on Scottsdale growth is a popular yardstick by which constituents use to measure political hopefuls.
Coupled by the booming population in the Valley of the Sun, there has been constant conversations around the amount — and quality — of projects coming to Scottsdale.
Passion lies on both sides. Some residents are vocal about needing more housing, more units and resources for Scottsdale, while others beg to slow down construction in the city.
From high-rise apartment buildings to affordable housing and new residential neighborhoods, Scottsdale City Council is often asked to give a final vote on projects that provide space for more residents.
So, where do this year’s Scottsdale City Council candidates fall on the spectrum of “growth”?
