Anthem mini-storage plans are dropped, but others come forward

FLORENCE — A developer has withdrawn plans for a mini-storage business behind Mosaic Church in Anthem, but others are proposing to locate elsewhere in town.

“It’s a popular business, storage facilities,” Commissioner Duane Proulx commented at the June 16 meeting of the Florence Planning and Zoning Commission.

The commission recommended approval of a request by B&S Equities LLC for a self-storage facility on the southeast corner of State Route 79 and Florence Heights Drive, with conditions stipulated by town staff. It goes to Town Council for another public hearing and action on July 5.
