InMaricopa photographer Bryan Mordt takes us on a tour of the new Copa Flats community currently under construction.

The Planning and Zoning Commission approved the project back in November 2021.

The Maricopa City Council approved a minor General Plan Land Use Amendment earlier in that month, changing the land use for 27.09 acres at the southeast corner of N. Porter and W. Applegate roads, just north of Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway, from Public/Institutional use (P) to Mixed Use (MU).
