Grocery store planned for plaza redev in Scottsdale

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

Plans have been submitted in Scottsdale for a new Sprouts grocery store at the Papago Plaza redevelopment project.

Pivot Development has submitted plans for a 23,453-square-foot Sprouts grocery story at McDowell Road and Scottsdale Road.

Pivot is redeveloping the Papago site across the ASU SkySong office and apartment development.

The redevelopment replaces the aging Pueblo style shopping center with the new grocery store, apartments and other commercial uses.

The center is being rebranded at Papago Marketplace.

Pivot is also seeing city approvals for a three-level parking garage with 238 spaces to go along with the new Sprouts.

The city is being asked to approve site plans for the much anticipated grocery story.
