Incumbents defend record while Leach calls for change at Maricopa forum

MARICOPA — Porter Road traffic and rezoning practices led to some disagreement among candidates for Maricopa City Council when they met for a forum Thursday, as lone challenger Adam Leach called for “change” in the coming election.

The Maricopa Monitor and Maricopa Rotary Club hosted a city council candidate forum on Thursday at the Maricopa Unified School District office in the governing board room, covering a range of issues with the four candidates who are vying for three seats.

Henry Wade, Vincent Manfredi and Rich Vitiello are current Maricopa City Council members and Leach is a local Realtor.
