Chandler-based Offerpad is expanding into one of Florida’s hottest growth markets.
Offerpad has launched its online real estate sales in the Fort Myers area on Florida’s west coast.
“Residential real estate can often feel overwhelming and the process daunting for homeowners. Today’s market isn’t making it any easier,” said Offerpad Chief Real Estate Officer Vaughn Bair. “Offerpad is changing all that. We put homeowners in control and let their needs and timeline drive the transaction. Florida continues to be a vibrant and thriving housing market, and we’re excited about this investment to empower more homeowners to buy or sell on their own terms.”
Offerpad already operates and conducts residential real estate in Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa.
The Fort Myers footprint includes growth areas such as Punta Gorda, Cape Coral, Naples and Sanibel Island.
The Fort Myers region has a population of 1.3 million and has seen 16.25% population growth in the past 10 years, according to RoofStock.com and Census data.
The Southwest Florida region has a GDP of $34.5 billion with 60% growth the past decade and home prices are up as much as 51% the past year, according to Roofstock, an online real estate platform.
Offerpad also plans on adding Cincinnati, Colorado Springs and Fort Collins, Colorado, and Fort Wayne, Indiana to its online real estate footprint.
