Popular furniture retailer eyes West Valley for expansion

Englewood, Colorado-based American Furniture Warehouse, which is opening its third Valley store this fall, has its sights set on a prime parcel in the West Valley for another large store.

The furniture retailer is looking to tentatively build an overall 200,000-square-foot facility with a 150,000-square-foot showroom and 50,000 square feet of warehouse space on about 20 acres in Surprise, the company told the Business Journal.
