Opinion: If Arizona Republicans choose Kari Lake in the primary, a Democrat could take over the governor’s office. Is that really what they want?
.By Phil Boas |Arizona Republic
Arizona Republicans who support Kari Lake have not figured it out yet, but they are the stormtroopers of the Democratic Party.
The obedient brigades of the left.
There may be no candidate in any state race in the country who more embodies Donald Trump than Lake. She not only runs for Arizona governor on the endorsement of her sensei in south Florida, but with his unleashed anger.
She’s the sledgehammer striking the talking head left. Her emotion mimics Trump’s Jan. 6 posters with his glaring eyes and beet-red rage.
Kari Lake, like Trump, is lost in the past
Like Trump, she is hard focused on the past, so obsessed with the election of two years ago that she didn’t wait for a debate moderator to ask the all-important question of this race:
“Would you agree that we had a corrupt, stolen election?” she asked her opponents. “Raise your hand.”
Lake’s own hand hurtled spear-like to the sky.
