Former Maricopa mayor now leads local economic development group in fast-growing city

Christian Price, the former mayor of the city of Maricopa, recently started his new role as president and CEO of Maricopa Economic Development Alliance for the fast-growing community in Pinal County.

Price resigned as Maricopa’s mayor on July 1 after serving in that role for about a decade to become MEDA’s first ever president and CEO. While mayor, Price also served as president of Arizona League of Cities and Towns and was a board or chair member for multiple economic, transportation and government organizations in Arizona.
