A Scottsdale-based freight technology firm has opened a new office in Atlanta.

Emerge provides freight technology platforms to logistics and global supply chain firms.

The Arizona company’s Atlanta office will have as many as 160 employees and will work in conjunction with the company’s locations in Scottsdale and Boulder, Colorado.

“Opening an Atlanta-area office is an exciting next step in Emerge’s rapid expansion and growth. We will bring the Scottsdale Emerge culture and focus on Shipper and Carrier experience to this new office, located in the heart of the intersection of freight and technology,” said Cameron Ramsdell, COO of Emerge. “This expansion positions our company well for continued growth and demonstrates our commitment to enhancing the shipper and carrier experience within the Emerge marketplace as we expand our 24/7 support offering.”

Emerge was founded in 2017 by Andrew Leto. The company said more than 1,000 shippers and logistics firms use Emerge’s freight technology platforms.

“We continuously look at innovative ways to enhance our products and offer greater value to our customers,” Leto said.

The company has secured more than $150 million in funding and September 2021 launched a $130 million funding round.
