CASA GRANDE — The developers behind the controversial Spanish Trails West development have formally withdrawn their zoning application with the City of Casa Grande.
City Manager Larry Rains confirmed that the applicant for the Spanish Trails West PAD amendment formally withdrew their zoning case to become an all-ages residency Thursday afternoon. The application was scheduled to be considered at council’s regular meeting on Monday.
“The item will not be placed on the agenda,” Rains said in an email. “There will be no public hearing and Council will not consider the item. Should the applicant wish to pursue an amendment in the future they would be required to start a new process.”
