The Mesa Chamber of Commerce and Mesa Office of Economic Development are hosting a seven-part workshop series to help entrepreneurs, small business and start up owners as well as business managers

The Profit Mastery series focuses on helping participants to better use financial reports, including cash flows and break-even analyses, to help their businesses.

The workshop kicks off Sept. 30 with a live event at the Mesa Arts Centers with Steve LeFever, creator of the series.

LeFever will present the succeeding six lessons in the series virtually.

“Key to the economic vitality of our community is the success of our businesses,” said Mesa Economic Development Director Bill Jabjiniak. “The City and the Mesa Chamber are hosting Profit Mastery to give Mesa businesses the tools needed to succeed and prosper.”

The cost of LeFever’s series is usually $895. The East Valley series is $149 for Mesa Chamber members as well as local businesses who are part of the Mesa Business Builder Small Business Assistance Program.

The cost is $199 for other local businesses, as well as accountants and financial advisors needing continuing professional education credits.

Early and discounted rates are available through Aug. 19.

“We are excited to partner with the City of Mesa to offer this Profit Mastery Workshop to our business community,” Mesa Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Sally Harrison said. “This is a great opportunity for businesses to review the financial tools they need to run their business at an affordable cost.”
