Taco Bell to supersize Scottsdale location

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

Plans have been filed in Scottsdale for a new, larger Taco Bell restaurant and fast food drive-thru near McDowell Road and Hayden Road.

Sage Family Investments owns the property and wants to build the new restaurant on a 0.8-acre site. The new fast food eatery will replace an existing, smaller and longstanding Taco Bell adjacent to the site.

The city is being asked for site plan approvals for a new 2,245 square-foot building adjacent to an existing Walgreens drug store.

Mesa-based Hitchens Associates Architects has submitted the design and site plans for approval by the City of Scottsdale. The property is zoned for commercial use.
