The results in so far from Tuesday’s primary election in Arizona provided some definitive answers, but the outcomes of other contests are still up in the air.
Blake Masters won the Republican U.S. Senate primary, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs won her party’s primary, and several candidates for Congress also were declared winners by The Associated Press.
But the vote counting in one of Arizona’s biggest races — the Republican nomination for governor — has not yet produced a victor.
Republican candidates Kari Lake and Karrin Taylor Robson are in a virtual tie. It may take several days to know who won.
Both candidates told supporters Tuesday night that they expected to win once the counting was done.
