The City Council on Tuesday unanimously approved the subdivision final plat for the initial two phases of the Hogenes Farms housing development.
The six parcels, on 232 acres at the northwestern corner of McDavid and Green roads, increases the development to 489 acres that will have about 2,700 homes when the project is completed.
The project will be developed by Marbella Homes under its TRS 15 division. Based on the U.S. Census Bureau’s estimate of 3.3 residents per dwelling, the massive residential community would be about 8,900 residents.
