Downtown Chandler continues to grow, add new businesses

Residents who haven’t ventured into downtown Chandler in a couple months will see just how much has changed very quickly. New restaurants and businesses have taken root and construction projects have made significant progress. 

John Owens, downtown Chandler redevelopment specialist with the city of Chandler, said he is excited about the continued growth in the historic part of Chandler. 

“There are lots of new things for residents and visitors alike to enjoy in addition to the ever-wonderful stalwarts,” Owens said. 

Businesses that have opened in the last several months include The Tipsy Egg, The Uncommon and Jersey Mikes. Chandler POPs, a rental event space opened September 2. The rental event space is the brainchild of d’Vine Gourmet owner Denise McCreeery. But more lies on the horizon.
