A group of immigrants who surrendered in Arizona to U.S. Border Patrol in 2018.
Opinion: Did hell freeze over? Kari Lake, Elizabeth Warren and Gavin Newsom all disagree with transporting migrants to liberal areas like Martha’s Vineyard.

It was William Shakespeare in 1610 who gave us an immortal expression to describe modern politics:
“Misery acquaints a man with strange bedfellows.”
Transformed to “politics makes strange bedfellows,” it describes how liberal Democrats Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Gavin Newsom and Elizabeth Warren have all bounced onto the same big mattress with MAGA candidate for Arizona governor Kari Lake.
All four agree it is wrong for Republican governors to ship migrants to the left-wing garrisons of New York City, Washington, D.C., downtown Chicago and now cushy Martha’s Vineyard.
Kari Lake agrees, but for different reasons
‘I’m not a fan of it,’ Republican governor candidate Kari Lake recently told Tucker Carlson.
Newsom is “horrified,” “horrified,” that governors such as Florida’s Ron DeSantis have manufactured such a scheme.
He has urgently called on the Department of Justice to investigate those governors on potential charges of kidnapping.
Amused, DeSantis responded, “I think his hair gel is interfering with his brain function.”
AOC calls the strategy a “crime against humanity.”
Elizabeth Warren says, “It is cruel to treat human beings like pawns in a political game.”
