DESIGN CELL ARCHITECTURE VIA THE CITY OF MESA
By Brandon Brown | Phoenix Business Journal
A developer has submitted plans to the city of Mesa to build a hospitality campus to include three separate hotels to support Bell Bank Park in southeast Mesa.
The developer – Las Vegas-based Tharaldson Hospitality – is proposing building three hotels and two retail and restaurant buildings on the 10.67-acre site near the intersection of Ellsworth and Williams Field roads. In total, there would be 365 rooms on the site, as well as 7,600 square feet for retail and restaurant uses.
According to documents submitted to the city of Mesa, Tharaldson has already secured an operator for the hotels and branding for the properties. The branding for the hotels will be Residence Inn by Marriott, Home 2 Suites by Hilton and Element by Marriott. All three hotels will be four stories tall, and all will have outdoor pool areas, according to city documents.
