Viva México! Rose Law Group creates Mexican Independence Day event in the Metaverse

By Rose Law Group Reporter

The purpose of this event was to celebrate Mexico’s Independence for the first time in the Metaverse. Decentraland was chosen as the perfect metaverse to do it.

The event consisted of animated 3D characters representing different heroes of Mexican Independence that teach people about México’s history.

Architecture will be based off of “El Zócalo” in Mexico City, where each September 16th a huge ceremony is officiated, bringing thousands of Mexicans together to shout ‘VIVA MEXICO,’ an experience that should be shared and scaled into the metaverse.

Some pieces of Mexican artist will be showcased, for example adrydelrocio murals, an emerging Mexican artist with more than 30K followers on Instgram.

“Being able to share this party to the whole world through the metaverse, satisfies me as a Mexican, Viva México!” said Rose Law Group Director of Metaverse Planning and Design Eduardo Dávalos.
