MARICOPA — Meritage Homes has opened a new community in Maricopa.
The homebuilder announced in a press release that development is already in the works for Villas at The Lakes, with the new community starting around North Lynn Street.
According to the release, this community at Rancho El Dorado has four floor plans from 1,218-1,572 square feet. The energy-efficient homes range from three to four bedrooms with two full baths, each with an open living space on the first floor.
The new community also includes walking trails, barbecue grills and a greenbelt. It boasts “quick access” to State Route 347 and Interstate 10 and is close to dining, shopping and entertainment in Maricopa, the press release said.
Meritage Homes is the sixth largest public homebuilder in the U.S. based on homes closed in 2020.
The 154 homes planned for the community start in the $300,000s.
