Taylor Morrison, Christopher Todd Communities part ways on build-to-rent partnership

Scottsdale-based Taylor Morrison Home Corp. (NYSE: TMHC) and Mesa-based Christopher Todd Communities aren’t renewing their licensing agreement, which means both homebuilders will be going it alone in the wildly popular build-to-rent space.

In July 2019, the two builders inked a three-year partnership to build these communities that include detached, single-family rental homes with resort-like amenities. The goal was to start in metro Phoenix and expand to other markets where Taylor Morrison already operates.
