Developer looks to delay vote on contentious Gilbert mixed-use project

A final decision on one of the larger proposed industrial projects in Gilbert could be pushed back until early 2023.

IndiCap, the developer of a proposed mixed-use project named The Ranch, is asking Gilbert Town Council for another continuance on the hotly debated project. The council is set to vote Tuesday on whether to adopt a major general plan amendment and a rezoning of about 300 acres for IndiCap to develop the project on the southwest corner of Elliot and Power roads. The agenda reflects IndiCap’s request to move to continue discussion on the project until February 2023.
