Land leased in Pinal County for planned solar project

PINAL COUNTY, ARIZONA (February 1, 2023) – NAI Horizon facilitated a unique solar-related land lease on behalf of a Texas-based seller/landlord for approximately 147 acres of agricultural-zoned land in Pinal County. The buyer/lessee plans to build a solar energy production facility.

The property, which sits one half mile north of Interstate 8, is located at the NEC of the intersection of Cornman and Midway roads.

Senior Vice President John S. Filli, SIOR – an industrial, land, and investments sales specialist with NAI Horizon – represented Royal Estates at Midway, a Texas limited liability company from Flower Mound, Texas. The 2-year lease totals almost $300,000.

The site had been in escrow for 60 days before the buyers, Casa Grande Investments, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company (solar energy project partner No. 1) and Seguro Energy Partners, LLC, an Arizona limited liability company (solar energy project partner No. 2) worked out an arrangement.
