An office and warehouse building is to be constructed on 6 acres east of Higley Road on the north side of McDowell Road in Mesa.
The landscaping and look of the Longbow Business Park Lot No. 7 development were discussed at the Feb. 14 meeting of the Mesa Design Review Board.
The property is zoned light industrial with a planned area development overlay where the use is allowed, Staff Planner Charlotte Bridges said at the meeting.
“The site plan shows the construction of a 53,000-plus-square-foot building. Access is from McDowell; parking is located on the south and west sides of the building and the truck and loading areas on the east,” she said. “The elevations are tilt-panel construction; they do have form liners that are adding differences in textures throughout the elevations as well as they have the glass and they have some metal accents, awnings.”
Chase Woosley of Cotton Architecture + Design LLC is the applicant. CTC Properties LLC is the owner.
A 53,645-square-foot multitenant building that has 43,546 square feet gross of warehouse space and 10,099 square feet gross of future office space is planned, Ryan Short, principal at Cotton Architecture + Design, wrote in a project narrative.
