Town Council moves for continuance of Andaz Resort development application

The Andaz Scottsdale Resort application for an intermediate special use permit amendment has been continued to a non-specific date by Paradise Valley Town Council.

The SUP is to incorporate and develop a nearby five-acre parcel at 6041 N. Quail Run Road and add 10 guest units and service building to the resort.

During a Feb. 9 meeting, Senior Planner George Burton presented a request for more information on several topics from the council members and updates to the application.

Andaz Resort will provide updated information to town council as it becomes available.

Once the updates are submitted and complete, the application will be presented once again to town council at a future study session.

Since the continuance will be to a non-specific date, the public hearing will be re-noticed, re-advertised and re-posted, Burton explained.
