Valley city hires previously terminated economic director for new role

The city of Peoria has hired its former economic development director Rick Buss as assistant city manager nearly two years after he was terminated from his role with the municipality. 

Buss started his new position on Feb. 13, according to the city, which lists the salary for assistant city manager as between $206,400 and 227,963.
