Analysts offer perspective on Arizona housing

Economists say it’s time to stop obsessing about the recession. Despite previous forecasts of a looming recession, any slowdown in the Arizona economy later this year may be more like a blip or a bump in the road, experts say.

“At this point, recession odds keep getting pushed further out, particularly given recent labor market and consumer spending data that the U.S. economy is still humming along solidly,” Selma Hepp, chief economist for CoreLogic, told the Business Journal.
