A presentation and discussion on a proposed “workforce” housing project near downtown by Chicanos Por La Causa will take place during a study session prior to the City Council’s regular meeting Monday.
The project is said to be aimed at K-12 teachers, first responders, hospitality workers and Lucid Motors employees.
The project involves five parcels of land, mostly south of the Union Pacific Railroad on Main Avenue and Top and Bottom Street, and near downtown at 401 E. Third St.
