Prescott names new city manager

The City of Prescott has announced that Kathryn Gregory has been named City Manager. Gregory was selected among four finalists, including Interim City Manager Tyler Goodman. Council approved her contract at their meeting on April 11. Ms. Gregory will begin on May 8, when she will be sworn in as City Manager.

Gregory comes to Prescott from the City of Peoria where she served for 23 years, most recently as Deputy City Manager for the past five years. Prior to her tenure with Peoria, she was with the Cities of Glendale, AZ and Eugene, OR. Gregory has a total of 29 years of experience in local government. She has a Master of Science in Public Administration. She currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona. Interim City Manager Tyler Goodman will resume his role as Deputy City Manager when Gregory begins as City Manager.
