Maricopa City Council gave the green light to the proposed development of Villas at Stonegate community during a May 2 meeting.
The 293-unit townhouse subdivision was included on the council’s consent agenda, which was unanimously approved without further discussion. The community will be located on 16.1 acres at the southeastern corner of Alan Stephens Parkway and Stonegate Road.
The subdivision is owned and designed by the Mesa-based real estate development company BFH Group.
