The Buckeye City Council approved more development plans for the growing area this week.
The first of these approved developments came from developers Hilgart Wilson LLC, which requested the approval of a minor subdivision titled Paloma Vista Industrial on about 167.4 acres at the northwest corner of Perryville and McDowell roads. The proposed subdivision will reconfigure two existing lots into four lots.
Paloma Vista Logistics Center is a four-building distribution facility. The facility can serve 30 million customers within a one-day truck haul. The site is positioned near Interstate 10 and Sky Harbor Airport.
It will also dedicate the necessary rights of way and easements required for the development of the site, according to city documents.
The next housing development came from a request for the final plat for Mystic Vista Phase 2 located north of the northwest corner of Apache Road and Southern Avenue.
