Fred Meyers sells Gilbert land

Fred Meyer Stores of the Kroger Companies sold 7.64 acres of land at the northwest corner of Elliot and Power roads June 15 to Barclay Holdings CII LLC, a division of real estate developer Barclay Group, according to commercial real-estate website vizzda.com.  

The land is planned for outparcels in a Fry’s-anchored shopping center. This property is planned for the development of about 34,150 square feet of retail space in six buildings, with 17,300 square feet of inline retail while the other five buildings each have a drive-through lane planned.
