North Carolina developer proposes Gilbert office building

A Charlotte, North Carolina-based developer is seeking approval to build a new 120,000-square-foot office building in Gilbert.

SunCap Property Group wants to construct Building 3 at Gilbert Spectrum, which is a 64-acre office and industrial park that its been developing in phases at McQueen and Elliot roads since 2016. The developer is seeking approval for the building’s site plan, landscaping, floor plans and for a rezoning and land-use classification before the Gilbert Town Council and Gilbert Planning Commission on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
