Arizona jumps several spots in ranking of top states for business

Arizona made a huge leap this year in CNBC’s annual ranking of America’s Top States for Business.

The Grand Canyon State landed at No. 14, a significant improvement from being ranked No. 34 in 2022.

The state’s ranking was buoyed more than anything by its strong grade in the workforce category, where Arizona was rated No. 3 in the nation after ranking No. 7 last year. The state’s score in the workforce category was the only one high enough to earn it an A grade.
