Buckeye City Council is moving forward with approving a much anticipated mixed-use retail, dining and entertainment center space to serve the community and the southwest valley.
On Tuesday night, council approved the development agreement between the city and Vestar Verrado Manager LLC.
David Roderique spoke on behalf of the developers Vestar to request the agreement. A step forward to bring this long awaited development.
The property is at the southeast corner of North Verrado Way and West McDowell Road in Buckeye consisting of approximately 48 acres.
Vestar, which has built several Valley shopping centers including Desert Ridge Marketplace and Tempe Marketplace, seeks to develop the land into a 512,000-square-foot regional mixed-use retail, dining and entertainment center.
