Buckeye residents have there own Costco in the southwest Valley as the well known warehouse chain officially opened its long-awaited store Thursday morning.
Nearby residents turned out early in the morning for the grand opening of the Costco site on the southeast corner of Interstate 10 and Verrado Way.
In celebration of the opening, the Buckeye mayor was in attendance and toured the site.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled that Costco has opened its doors in Buckeye. This was one of the most desired retailers that our residents asked for in a retail survey from 2021, and the entire city of Buckeye worked hard to make this day happen,” Buckeye Mayor Eric Orsborn said.
The new location for Costco is major name for the site plan of Buckeye Commons shopping center and is the 20th Costco in Arizona.
